SAP rollout and migration in an industrial environment
Migrating a legacy ERP to SAP at an industrial company: large-scale data extraction and cleansing, PP / SD / QM modules and custom Z developments in ABAP.

The context
An industrial company in the metal sector running a legacy ERP built on SQL with no defined relations, data scattered over years, and critical processes tied to the old system. The challenge: migrate to SAP without losing history or interrupting shop-floor operations.
What I built
Designed and implemented the bulk of the data migration from the legacy ERP to SAP. More than 200 specific SQL queries for extraction and cleansing, with some queries exceeding 2,000 lines to reconstruct relationships the legacy system had never formalized.
Designed and developed custom Z objects in ABAP to extend SAP's standard functionality wherever the business process demanded it. Direct work on the PP, SD and QM modules, with applied knowledge of MM, EWM, FI and CO.
Outcome
Migration completed with data integrity intact, production processes adapted to the new ERP, and custom developments integrated into SAP that cover plant-specific needs — from production planning to quality management.
